Why does everyone keeps thinking the scale of TLC's 'system' Falcon is too
small. It is dead on compared to thier X-wing. It must be that whole deal
that the interior sets for the Falcon is 40 percent larger that the 'life-size'
model they made. Lego's external scale for the Falcon is about as close to
perfect as it can get. All the MOC's are, oddly enough, 40 percent too big.
As for me I would prefer a well designed $250 Star Destroyer, Rebel Frigate, or
Trade Federation Battleship. (guess which 3 I picked)

According to the SW site, the falcon is 27 meters long, which translates into about 88.5 feet, which should be 620mm long as a minifig scale model (1 minifig foot ~ 7mm, given that a (...) (25 years ago, 1-May-00, to lugnet.starwars)
