Are larger figures (like the pilot in 8253 Fire Helicopter) still considered
to be "minifigs" or is there another name for these larger more articulated
pieces?

| (...) I think "TECHNIC Figures" is the accepted term, but there may be another (I've heard "maxifig" used colloquially). best LFB (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)

| (...) I think that it is subjective. Part of the grey areas of the question can only be defined by the individual possessing the parts in question. For example, I keep a spreadsheet inventory of my sets, minifig numbers, costs, etc.... One of my (...) (25 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.starwars)
