As for Amidala possibly being alive, I don't agree, I think she ends up dead
and it has something to do with a jedi mistake (or possibly at the hand of the
emperor who blames it on the jedi to turn Anakin). I think this is what turns
him to the darkside and causes him to exterminate the jedi.
As for Darth Vader killing Luke's father - this IS a true statement - the
darkside killed Anakin and became Darth Vader.
