What is pictured in the inset by the MF on page 8? —Tony Sharpe
I am new to posting and I have a thought to the what is pictured by the MF on page 8. It kinda looks like the SLAVE I attached some way to the MF. (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Hiya and welcome! Do you mean the inset drawing? I don't think there's enough resolution there to *know* what the drawing is of, but I don't think that it is Slave 1, just because of the colouring. Unless I missed the thread where it was (...) My proof is you can see the blue engine color. The object that is separated away from thr (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What is pictured in the inset by the MF on page 8? —Jason Fabisch
No, I think I figured it out. It is a hand. Ever see the CD Lego catalog in the Turbo Command set. This hand comes out and does the stuff to the models to show what it does. I think this hand had some kind of Borg looking contraption on it. The pic (...) (25 years ago, 11-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I think so, too. Notice the tan 3x3 round plates on the right hand side of the MF. These rounded plates ensure that something, e.g. an escape pod, can easily be inserted.      (...) I'm not hoping for much in the way of MF "internals". That would just add to the price of the set, without providing a visible value-add to the time-of-purchase experience.
