Well folks, it’s finally here! The first all-Australian public LEGO fan expo,
Brickvention 2006!
To be held in Melbourne, Australia, on June 10-11 2006, Brickvention is still
in the planning stages, but we are currently working on:
- Presentations (LDraw, building tips, information),
- MOC displays,
- Train/town layouts,
- Space display including Moonbase,
- Pirates display,
- Trade tables,
and more!
Pre-registration is now available on the website, and includes full entry to both days, and a
unique registration pack (exact contents not yet finalised). You will need to
register if you want to display any MOCs, participate in presentations, or
operate a trade table (which will incur a small extra fee as well). Registration
will also be available at the door, but will not include the registration pack,
sorry.
The event will also be open to the public on Sunday the 11th, so anyone who
doesn’t want to attend the whole weekend can just come during the public
opening.
More information will be forthcoming in the next few weeks, but for now, visit
the website.

| Also, I would like to suggest that we talk to LEGO about getting: A.People from LEGO to come down uunder (as has happened at other world events) and B.one or more of those large boxes full of random parts (as has also happened at other world events) (19 years ago, 1-Mar-06, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.events)
