This may be rehashing an old topic, but has anyone ever thought about what • each
color might mean for the old space mini-figs?  Here's my theory:

Yellow= Pilots- they always seemed to be the figs that came with spaceships

Not just pilots, they also drove some vehicles which transported stuff.

White= Technicians- they played the support role in most pictures involving
ships.

I´d say scout pilots, the pilot some fo the smaller cars and ships. And also
techincians.

Blue= Scientists- They were the figs with the labs and the Uranium search
vehicle.

Blue = scout pilots, scinetists and rocket engineer. there is one on the
Alien Moon Stalker.

Red= Command- they came with the command base and command vehicles

And perhaps researchers or military scouts? The pilot some of the larger
one-fig spacecraft.

Black= I can't really figure these guys out.  My thoughts were either • gaurds,
GI, or high command. What I eventually came up with was that they • represented
the ministry of internal mini-fig affairs which was like the secret
service.

I think that they are some sort of rescue-figs. Rescue and police goes like
hand-in-hand. They pilot the walking Astro Grappler and the Gamma V laser
craft.

This is supported by the fact that the first space police were black • mini-figs
because, obviously, the ministry felt that just having agents in the field • was
not enough what with all that uranium going back and forth.

Have a look over at Fibblesnork and tell me what you think.

Felix

I guess that I never gave as much thought as some of you to the functions and duties of each color. For me, the colors represented rank more than anything. Here is my breakdown (including approximate duties): White was the most numerour for me (and (...) (25 years ago, 5-Nov-99, to lugnet.space)
