Heh, I know what you mean about the turret... I just wanted to make it look cool. A smaller, perhaps rounder, or more steeply angled design would have made more sense.

That’s not to say I didn’t look at real turrets... I did, but I couldn’t replicate the complex (to me at least) geometries and detail they have.

Anyhow, though it is boxy, it doesn’t *look* like a box. I like how you managed to combine economy of pieces with good looks, you did a very good job in that. While internal machinery might have been nice (a reactor, maybe weapons components), I feel that given the size constraints of the vessel, you made the right choice in maximizing crew area.

I’m glad you think it’s not boxy, ‘cause I do! Haha, j/k, thanks.

Additional point defense turrets would’ve made it nicer, but as is, it’s nice. The rear-mounted missile launchers are a nice touch, as is the design of the missiles themselves. That reminds me: where are the “16 high-maneuverability missiles” mounted? I couldn’t find them in any of your pictures.

You’re right about more point-defense systems, I guess I’m becoming complacent!

The 16 h-m missiles are beside the main comm dish... You see those round black canisters? Yep, those are it.

like the design of the nose, it’s not boxy, but at the same time it’s not so complex that one wastes pieces in trying to get a nice shape.

Yeah, I knew I had to do something different about the front, instead of just slapping on a canopy like I usually do.

On a sidenote, were the different components of the ship (fore hull, rear hull, engine section) modular or integrated?

Modular as in you can take them apart individually? Yep.

The engine itself is held by 4 technic pins... Not sturdy but it works.

Anyhow, in general, it’s pretty nice. I’d love to see a decently sized and well greebled capital ship (maybe 110-120 studs?) of yours, as you usually come up with interesting overall designs.

As would I, but my collection can’t tolerate it... Or could it? I’ll have to give this some more thought.

Thanks for the feedback Jordan! I appreciate it.
