This is very sweet! Its a perfect example of the visual impact of color

though Im not really liking the squared-off, two-box profile(1), I still
spent the last 45 minutes looking at every shot. Thanks for building and

Thanks Kyle! And thanks for the critique... More on that below.

(1) Nevertheless, it really does evoke the battleship shape in a space MOC,
which I figure is what you were going for.

Yes, in the few sketches I did for this spaceship, I did try to evoke the shape
of a destroy/battleship/whathaveyou. However, in sketches, you can draw flowing
lines that taper off vaguely... Not so with LEGO. I realized pretty soon when I
started building this vessel that I couldnt make it curvy, or even angular, so
I copped out I guess.
The thing is, if I had tryed to make it tapered, I would have had to sacrifice
the interior space for the crew. I didnt want to do this, so I went for the
simple boxy look.
I agree though, the boxy-approach doesnt work for someone like me who uses a
minimum of greebling. I have learned my lesson, and will try to build a more
angular, or even curved, spacecraft next time.
