Before I pass out, what do you think?
Fuzzy has once again brought up one of the most requested Moonbase standard
mods.

If we added a wide corridor variant, how wide would it be?

16?

Think about it.
I'm thinking at this point it would do no harm at all.
Moonbase is here to stay.  Big time.

(...) The variant I seem to recall seeing that someone proposed was determined not by the interior width but rather by the width of two corridor connector points, that is, it was such that two narrows that were exactly adjacent would have their (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Wide Moonbase Corridors?

Let's see...16 wide would in actuality be 14 wide due to the connector at the edge of the corridor. This wouldn't be much of a problem at all. The problem lies with the availability of 6 x 16 light grey plates. Long corridors would become (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.space)
  Re: Wide Moonbase Corridors? (12?)

Oh man, dude, I didn't mean THAT much wider. I'm assuming the "16" you mentioned is total outer corridor width with a 12 stud span inside. I'm afraid that if corridors went to 16 wide, they would take up too much of the wall space. Someone who had (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) I vote "no", there's no point in messing with the doors. I can't think of any doors I've gone through in the past year (other than on loading docks) that I've actually walked through side-by-side with someone, while having a conversation. One (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.space)
