The variant I seem to recall seeing that someone proposed was determined not by
the interior width but rather by the width of two corridor connector points,
that is, it was such that two narrows that were exactly adjacent would have
their outer connectors plug into the connectors of the wide.
That's what I recall.
That makes the corridor interior somewhat (2 studs?) wider than just two
narrows. It's not necessarily an argument for DOING it that way, mind you, just
because someone did.
I hope that's of some help, I can't recall who posted the wide pics at the mo,
and since I never have actually completed a module, I have no personal standing
or opinion, I'm just trying to use my tendency to dredge stuff up from memory
for good instead of evil. :-)
