| | Lego IR serial tower!

If your IR tower still functions, and it's just a matter of not having a serial port, the simplest solution would be to just buy an adapter that will allow you to hook up a serial device to a USB port. | Lego's IR protocol is proprietary, similar to that used by remote controls. This means that USB/IrDA bridges will not work, nor will the IrDA ports of laptop computers. If you have a universal remote which connects to your computer, you might be (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-03, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)
