  assembler programming

Hello- I have decided to learn how to program the Handyboard in assembler for a class, but I am having trouble finding example code to start with. I have been able to download things to the board and run them, but I don't know if they work because I (...) (22 years ago, 14-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Problem connecting Lego light sensors to the analog ports

HI, I faced some problems while I was using the Lego Light sensors on the Handy Board. I'm fitting 2 lego rotation sensors and a light sensor on the Board.   Re: HB DC Motors

Hi, You can try to remove the buzzer on the board, then test beep() function. If the board does not freeze up, that means there is a problem on the buzzer itself.   HB DC Motors

Please help me. All the commands from IC to HB work fine.e.g. analog test, digital test, printf to LCD, etc. But, when I write the command "beep();" the board makes a continuous noise and freezes up. IC reports "board not responding. Same thing (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Lithium ion rechatgeable battery & handyboard?

Dear, Hi, i am currently works on a wheeled mobile robot project. I need a 12v external power supply to power my 3 minimotors (12V & 4.2watt) since handyboard only can support up to 9v and 1 amp. I want something light and provide high amp. I found (...) (22 years ago, 15-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: More Battery Questions

Replacement battery options are listed on the HB FAQ, at: (URL) don't you get the 1000 mAh packs from Radio Shack? That would give you 2x the run time of the 500 mAh packs. Take longer to charge, but would require no other board mods. Fred (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  More Battery Questions

Hi, First I wanted to thank the handful of people that responded to my previous question about HB batteries. We seem to be getting by using Fred's suggestions, basically being more careful about charging, using ZAP mode to pull up really dead packs, (...)   Re: Handyboards for Dummies, etc.

Thermoforming may be another alternative that to my understanding does not carry anywhere near the initial expense as injection moulding. Secondly, what might make it (...)   Re: Handyboards for Dummies, etc.

A case as you describe it would be nice. To me it's largely a cost issue. Custom plastic is expensive to set up -- thousands of dollars for an injection mold. Anyone care to open-source a design? That would be a start :-). Fred (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Handyboards for Dummies, etc.

Can someone please enlighten me as to why the handyboard is only available as a bare motherboard?
