I was wondering if there will be any problem using the RCX and
the computer software from Lego when we roll over to the
year 2000.

Along those lines, does anybody know if the 8880 Super Car has any Y2K
problems?  That is one of my favorite sets, and I don't want it to break
a year from now.

Sorry, #8880 isn't Y2K compliant.  The original (non-notched) #2 axles
will spontaneously combust on 2/29/00.
You got the worng date - it should be 04/01/00

(I had to think _very_ hard to get that into the US format!)
You should upgrade all older
Technic sets to use the newer notched #2 axles which are Y2K compliant.

OK we are not serious (aren't we (8-)#  ), but a lot of people out there
believe that traffic lights will stop working.............
