I can't see this making much sense. It would be soooo much cheaper for
TLC to send stickers out to the stores to be applied to the 1.5 boxes.
These stickers could direct customers to Lego Customer Service to
obtain a free replacement CD if the only significant change is
software. Paying to have all the boxes shipped twice (back to TLC and
again to the stores) plus the costs of changing the packaging to read
RIS 2.0 would just be nuts. No manufacturer that I've ever seen
actually recalls a product unless there's something dangerous about
it. Still, I'm anxiously awaiting the RIS2.0. I ordered a 1.5 from
Future shop at the 50% off sale and as of yesterday's email it was
still on backorder so I have to think they are waiting for the 2.0's.
I would expect that they will still honour the agreed-upon price.

| Just rang S@H and they have a release date of early March - no specific date, with more information to follow soon. I can't get a 1.5 version anywhere where I live, or even in the Lego store in Chicago while I was there visiting... Still, March is (...) (23 years ago, 16-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)
