I have been working on it, and its a lot harder than it sounds. I have been
trying to
build a device which moves the RCX around in sync with the leg movements to
maintain balance. So far, it doesn't work, and I have some broken pieces to
show for
it. The main reason seems to be the small angles through which the leg
joints actually
have to move coupled with the high torques involved. I feel I should
qualify "leg" as being
some kind of slender structure which supports the weight of the body. I am
sure it is
possible to design stubby structures with adequate strength but that isn't
in the spirit
of "leg" in my opinion.
