This is becoming rather a silly thread. The simple fact is that Lego put a
lower 'age' on the Mindstorm sets in Germany. The reason, also simple. They
are as most companies, worried about product liability suits in the US, so put
a very (unacceptably) high minimum 'suggested age' on the sets in the US to
try to avoid any suggestion of young children being hurt by the sets. It is a
simple 'fact of life' about the US, and nothing to do with education or
relative intelligence...
