Good questions Juanma! If WORDS is very important for you, I can write up a quick tutorial on how to do that. I'm pretty sure all of the CORE or REQUIRED ANS Forth words are supported. Adding extra digits depends on the machine making the parts. Due to the uniformity and spacing of the numbers on all three of my RCX's, I'd say that's unlikely--but possible. I just finished a PIC16F84A application which receives IR commands from the RCX or RCX remote control, saves them and transmits another command back again. (...) Are we sure the numbers are consecutive? In most business type numbering schemes, you add an extra digit which is calculated from the others as a way to avoid problems with typo's. I'm thinking quite few. I maintain an RCX "owners list" at (URL) only have two 1.0 units. Hi John, Thanks to your pre-built BrickOS tools, I have finally installed it on my Windows 2000 machine (I tried several times in the past... no luck !). The installation was really fast and easy, the only problem I got was that the default BrickOS (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx, lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos, lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

Hi Robert, thanks for your response. Indeed, the main problem seems to be slippage. The more speed the motors produce, the bigger the slippage is and the less is the resulting angle. I wonder how many Mindstorms have been sold? Assuming serial numbers (S/N) are assigned sequentially might give a good indication. I have a RCX 1.0 S/N 022751 purchased when Mindstorms first came out. And I have a a RCX 2.0 (S/N 591822) obtained (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

LEGO came out with a a Mindstorms set called "Exploration Mars" the same year that Mindstorms itself came out. Lego Mindstorms' ActiveX control is called SPIRIT.OCX. NASA's latest Mars rover is named Spirit. Does anyone else find this to be a freaky (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

I believe (gleaned from an interview posted a ways back) that part of the "electronics" being discontinued was Lego Studios. (Which meant I could get the Spinosaurus Attack for $15 at KB).
