Hi! When I first fired up IC 4 it was wiithout the expansion board, and the HB booted fine. I suppose you could save some memory and processor time if you didn't load the expansion board libraries.) I think I found the key to my previous success at getting VCS to run on W2K/XP. This is the good news - The bad news is you need to get a copy of RIS 2.0 and run the VCS update utility on the RIS CD. Be sure you get the proper Max232 chip. I bought another, because I was having serial port problems, and thought it might be the Max232 chip... But the new one I bought wasnt *quite* right.
