Hi, er um, my name's Ronan, I'm 38 and I like lego. Now that's out of the way... I've joined up here in the last couple of weeks, thinking that this was the end of my dark age. But maybe I've been deluding myself really. I've been buying lego for (...) (26 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: How did you come out of your Dark Ages?

First of all, I love it when these threads get started. Some of the stories that surface about people "hiding" something they truly like, work on, and are proud of is touching. David Eaton's in particular was very nice. LEGO was my main toy when I (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: How did you come out of your Dark Ages?

(...) An interesting question. I played with LEGO all through my childhood years. Now, with the resources of Lugnet, I can actually identify some of the earliest sets I had as a youngster, and I know that they were released only a couple years after (...)   Re: How did you come out of your Dark Ages?

I never really went through a DARK age. I had more of a Tinker Age. I packed up most everything and then only pulled it out every now and again to Tinker. Play a bit with this, and with that... No major building projects. Nothing too exciting going (...) (26 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.people)

  where is craigo-lego?

Has anyone heard from craigo-lego (Craig Hamilton) in the past two months? I've sent him several email messages and left several phone calls in the past couple of months, and have yet to get a response. Does anyone know if he's OK? The last posts he (...) I came out of my dark ages in late 1995. At the time I was interested in my old Atari computers and was reading the comp.sys.atari.8bit newsgroup.
