  Re: New modded parts

(...) Thanks :-) I thought of calling a half double axle joiner a "minim" because it looks like the musical note and it's a lot quicker to say! I've made quite a few of the X plugs you mentioned, but from axle pins because the ball parts are less (...) (18 years ago, 3-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts.mod)

  Re: New modded parts

(...) Wow, those are some very good mods! I can definitely see the half-double axle joiner perpendicular becoming very handy - for half unit increments, among other things. Sometime I'll compile my own part wish list, but I'm to laz-er-busy right (...) (18 years ago, 3-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts.mod)

  New modded parts

Here's an update on my parts experiments. I've added quite a few Technic parts: (URL) expansion link (URL) , based on a 1x3 thin liftarm, allows an axle or peg to slide in the 1x2 slotted hole. Very useful for steam engines: (URL) (It would go (...) (18 years ago, 2-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.parts.custom, lugnet.technic)

  redesigned LEGO dart?

I was surprised to find that two LEGO Education Resource Sets (#9648) I recently purchased came with a redesigned version of the LEGO dart part (see the lower image in the brickshelf link). Although the same set purchased a few months earlier came (...) (18 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.parts)

Re: Custom Buffy/Angel minifigs - revisited

Hi Bianca (...) Well, I lurk, anyway. No new images of my work = nothing to post about. :) (...) Cool - any links? Your minifig site seems a bit isolated these days - no working link to other work that I could find. (...) Ewww... ;) (...) That's the (...) (18 years ago, 29-Dec-06, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Custom Buffy/Angel minifigs - revisited

Hi, Been a while since I was here. Still quiet as ever, in fact more so now. Oh well. Hi to anyone still here! I recently came out of another mini-dark age while other custom toy-making hobbies had my interest, this one lasting two years. I decided (...) (18 years ago, 24-Dec-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Parts Request

(...) When I needed Tyre 30.4 x 14 (30391) for my 8-wide HMMWV 2 years ago I used Thomas Burger's x505.dat still available at (URL) (18 years ago, 7-Dec-06, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Re: Parts Request

(...) I had started working on the 8-blade propellor part awhile back, and just did some more work on it recently. (This is one of the parts that I alluded to in (URL) this post>.) Because I was learning how to author parts, it is still in rough (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Parts Request

I am looking for LDraw part files for the following parts, and cannot find them. Has anyone made any of these, or is anyone working on them, or would anyone be willing to make any of them? Thanks! Hinge 1 x 2 Locking with Towball Socket (30396) (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

wWITP (weekly What is this part?)

A new-to-me part from 3569, which has two in black. (URL) is used in an assembly where in previous soccer sets (2 URLs) I suspect that it also appears in set 3570. The mind boggles that this somewhat generic-looking Technic part is "new", and at the (...) (18 years ago, 13-Nov-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Identify parts

(...) Yes and no. This is from the days when computers used cards for ports. The connection is a 20 serial cable (RS-232). Here's a catalog description of the interface card: MS-DOS or Apple II Slot Card Pack - US$161.50 includes slot card, cable, (...) (18 years ago, 11-Nov-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Identify parts

(...) Is that a PC card of some sort I see among the pictures? This didn't use a serial port? (18 years ago, 11-Nov-06, to lugnet.parts)

  Re: Identify parts

Re: spare parts for Red Beast

Re: Announcing Advanced LEGO Lighting Systems

(...) Mat, Thanks for the words of encouragement. Your suggestions are excellent. First, I should mention that I know LEGO train fans are often quite electronically-savvy and have developed their own lighting kits in some cases. I am hoping to reach (...)   Re: Announcing Advanced LEGO Lighting Systems

(...) Jordan, these look great. I've been making something similar for my own trains for awhile. Are yours constant output style? Or does the output vary with the voltage supply? It's funny, but this was something I pursued when I first got into (...) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-06, to lugnet.market.brickshops, lugnet.parts.custom)
