Re: When the world was young - thoughts —Jonathan Dallas
(...) I'm not sure if Joe actually got anything. I picked up the spear and Dave got the scimitar, but there should still be one more special item left for the next game. (...) I should be free any weekend in May. Do we want to do it on a Saturday (...) (21 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: When the world was young - thoughts —David Eaton
(...) Oh, I meant the magic spear that Joe picked up. The one that severely encumbered his masculinity :) (...) Yeah, we had throngs of troops waiting for that flame to go out before they were gonna make a move. Actually I think I'd retool how (...) (21 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: When the world was young - thoughts —Jonathan Dallas
(...) Well the first turn of burning oil damage would be more than the rest because the oil is causing the flame to be hotter, lets say a 2d6. Then rest of the turns could just have normal 1d6 fire damage on the areas that have something to burn. We (...) (21 years ago, 30-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: When the world was young - thoughts —David Eaton
(...) Well, the problem is that if you've got that same acre of oil that you're igniting with a 5000-degree blow-torch, the far corner of the acre that you're igniting (when it finally catches) isn't going to be at the same 5000-degree temperature.         Re: When the world was young - thoughts —David Eaton
(...) Shaun would've been cackling in triumph-- oh the sheer joy he would've had to see that happen to a fig dressed as a Ninja :) (...) Oh, my point was basically that if you lit the flame with 12d6 damage, the *rest* of the flame isn't at the same (...) (21 years ago, 1-May-03, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: When the world was young - thoughts —Dan Boger
(...) but that requires someone who knows the rules well enough, and is willing not to play. Unless we decide to go with the "What I Say Goes" rule, which basiclly picks someone (not always the same someone, I think) to resolve conflicts... So, (...)         Re: When the world was young - thoughts —David Eaton
(...) Actually, I kinda think it might be fun to try, personally-- you'd get free reign for creating the "magic items" (in this game), you'd get to control neutral troops (like the goblins, etc), and other game elements like the Sword of Agot, team (...)         Re: When the world was young - thoughts —Shaun Sullivan
(...) I could possibly do the 10th or 11th - though I'll have to get my army back for reworking. After that, I'm out of commission for the following two weekends, and won't be available again until the last weekend in May. I hope that I'd be able to (...)          Re: When the world was young - thoughts —Dan Boger
(...) I dunno - Aren't we all busy with the courthouse show on the 1st? (...) While I'll be willing to allow Shaun to retool his army (since he'd just get slautered again), for the _same_ game, I'd like the units to stay the same. Just the (...)         BrikWars! (Was Re: When the world was young - thoughts) —Wayne McCaul
BrikWars is a Plastic Building Blox Combat System. It's basically a set of rules to turn any brick collection into a miniatures' combat game.
