WHEREAS our opponents, the Outer Factions, have failed to declare what
motif their forces will be wearing, and

WHEREAS said Outer Factions seem to be disoriented, disorganized, and
altogether distasteful,

HERETOFORE it has fallen upon the shoulders of the Coalition Marines to dress
themselves, and to do so with Gusto.

THEREWITHALFORE the Coalition Marines have adopted a standard color scheme
which all of their outifts, skivvies, and knickers must adhere to.  Said color
scheme is to be predominately dark in nature, consisting primarily of dark
greys and blacks.

FORTHWITH, the Coalition Marines do strongly urge with all due jurisprudence
that the pansy Outer Factions bedeck themselves with another color, lest
confusion above and beyond the normal scale of mayhem run amok on the pending
battelfield, and

INADDITIONALHENCE, said Coalition Marines do humbly and generously recommend
that said Outer Factions use this opportunity to express their angst and
questionable bowel fortitude in the face of danger, by adorning themselves in
floral prints, flowing skirts, and perhaps those little halfshirts that come
with the Skater Punk Xtreme sets, as they seem most fitting for said Factions'
propensities.

The year is 2185. Six months ago, all contact with Coalition Research Vessel Zero-Point-Nine-Three-Seven [1] was lost. The Coalition Parliament, fearing that the ship might have fallen victim to any of a number of unseemly and equally dire (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)
