I've got some ideas, but at least for the train show pics and video, I'd suggest an image map of the layout with labels to show where everything was (with mouse over events to show a thumbnail and brief description of each area as you move your (...) (24 years ago, 25-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Congratulations! Keep an eye on the Christmas stock of Lego trains in the local TRUs, I noticed tht the ones in Edmonton, seem to have twice as many as last year in stock. Most places (malls, halls, etc.) will have some tables, and yes, most will be a "similar" height. But there is ALWAYS a good chance that they will be off by 0.5", for example, which would be no problem for bingo night, or a raffle ticket selling (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

I've been toying with get 5 inch or so plexi to have go around a layout to act both as a barrier from hands AND run away Lego. Also, some of the other groups have come up (...)
