Re: Money - budget for train show stuff - sponsorship

(...) No, it won't. I do, however, have a catalog that shows the entire line of Lego' Track and bits... Would that be better? Maybe not... No, my laminator will only do up to recipe card size..   Re: I'm always asking questions regarding the layout...

(...) If we can come up with a switch and push system I could make a program that would send each monorail out and wait for it to return before sending the OTHER one...   Re: Lego Studio Steven Spielberg Moviemaker set Review

(...) Refreshing for those who own the set, but frustrating for those who just want the figure and see she's not in any of the 2001 sets. Same problem with the Knights Kingdom women.   Re: I'm always asking questions regarding the layout...

(...) I thought we had 2 ascents and 2 descents: On the northern line, there's an ascent directly W of the bidge and a descent directly E of it: on teh southern line, there's an ascent W of the mountain and a descent E of the bridge. Both tracks are (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: I'm always asking questions regarding the layout...

(...) Not short of ramps. We've spec'd out just 1 "ascent" and 1 "descent" in our layout, requiring two track pieces for each. I've got 2 "sets" of each so I'm covered. As far as the other control at the dock station, that's not a bad idea. I'll (...) (24 years ago, 31-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: I'm always asking questions regarding the layout...

(...) OK. DId you say you were short of ramps, Robin? I can bring those if needed. It also strikes me that we need another directional control piece - at the m-station by the docks, BOTH sides of the loop ought to have a control switch so we can (...)   Re: I'm always asking questions regarding the layout...

(...) Ditto on the monorail track for me. Also, I now have the 3 short directional control pieces needed for our layout, so Kevin won't need to help there.   More monorail info

Just a couple of points on the monorail track. We all know that the lower track level will have 12 full height supports underneath.   Re: Money - budget for train show stuff - sponsorship

(...) I agree. I don't think we should have copies of this one to give out. However, one for train guys to look at during the show would be good, I suspect.
