Dilithium crystals?
27mhz is a standard frequency for hobby stuff.
Serious r/c use 75MHz for cars:
http://www.maac.ca/committees/documents/frequency_chart.html
Channel 61-90 for for surface vehicles, such as cars and boats. Rest are for
planes.
The crystal in the transmitter and in the receiver allow one control to control
a particular car at an event. ( Assuming noone else as that frequency on. )
As I mentioned at the dinner, where we swore allegiance to the Queen, r/c club
use clothes pins to monitor which frequecy is in use. Some larger events
demand you surrender your controller when you enter. When you have the clothes
pin, you get the controller. Else it stays in an separate area. ( Keep in
mind the cost of some of these model planes. Noone disagrees with this rule )
