IIRC LEGO has shown Flex tube being cut in instructions.

(...) I don't think so. Pnuematic tubing yes, but flex tubing is generally already supplied in the correct lengths. But I say go ahead & cut it anyway! ROSCO (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I'm trying to get the tilt mechanism of my tilting train lower to the ground so I can make the joint between two cars lower to the ground. This will make it easier to connect the two cars with a more useful walk through. First step was to remove the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Sep-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
