Anyway, so much for nostalgia. Now to try, yet again, to put you in your
place.

HA, good luck.   my place is to WIN this thing then be a sore winner and
rub your nose in it.   You may have a robot BUT I'm STILL waiting to see
you even mention your speed.  Why Bruce?

You've never won a contest...You may think your due, but, I hate to
tell you...You don't win contest because its your turn.

YOUR RIGHT!!!  I'll win this contest because for the past 4 months I
have been working and toiling.  As you might remember I was the first to
have a working robot (back in November), The first to have working
software( back in December).  As I'm sure you are experiencing, the
robot is the easy part. the software is where you will need to lose
sleep to get it done.

You might learn something from the SERIES of kids that have come up to you
and said  "Hey mister...Your robot sucks"  (in case anyone doesn't know this
is where we got the title for this event 'rtlToronto10: Hey, Mister! Project
X:')

Yes, Bruce thanks for that little bit of nostalgia as well.  We did name
this event in honour of me, due to all the little rug rats that have in
the past witnessed a robot error, and proclaim that my "robot sucks"

BUT THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN!!  I've hired staff** (the bash brothers) to
not only protect the robots from wandering hands BUT to as well, stomp
on the little darlings who are about to phrase "Hey Mister...."

Chris

** not really folks, this was just more bantering that keeps the
competitiveness up.  IF I never goaded Bruce into building a robot He
would not show up.

** We really did name the event in honour of the 2 different kids at
different times, during different games scream out " Hey Mister.. your
robot sucks"

(...) Funny you mention the palm tree bot...I can clearly remember Calum's robot from the first contest I went to. As I recall, it was fast and sorted marbles like crazy (with his patented 'Sara Sort'...at the time I thought this was some kind of (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
