    personal challange —Chris Magno
OK, I'm back from Vancouver. Nice place, Rains a bit too much for my liking thought. :) the flight is about 5 hours. in that 5 hours the "entertainment" system was not working. BUT some how they managed to show the "this is your life vest" Video, (...) (23 years ago, 21-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

         Re: personal challange —Chris Magno
(...) no. technically, you could build a robot that picks up ALL the block first and "stores" them in some holder. then put them back in the correct position. An on the fly solution would have a robot !!maybe!! scan the board, then fix blocks, !!OR (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Nice. I crossed the border at Ft. Erie two weekends ago and had relatively little problems, though we did see alot more inspections of other vehicles. I worked late of Friday--ugh! So I missed the dinner, again! Other things: I come up with (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Welcome Home, Chris. As for your challenge, I think that is what most people will be doing. I can see how the more mechanical solution of picking them all up and then dumping them through a template could work, but it would be tough to pull it (...)    (...) From my memory, LegOS is a new firmware that allows full c programming? will this allow you to array a variable? -- Chris Visit my newly revamped walker page @ (URL) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

        Re: personal challange —Rob Stehlik
(...) Yes, its a new firmware. But if you want arrays, you can do this with NQC. All you need is the new 2.0 firmware, and a relatively new version of NQC. I did some things with arrays a while ago. So, arrays are no problem, even with official Lego (...) (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) HUmm, no one has offered step by step help on this: I am running 2.0 of the firmware, Just not using NQC. I AM using the lego script and from what I remember it should make use of ALL the functions. how could a new NQC offer arrays, YET the (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

        Re: personal challange —Rob Stehlik
(...) Chris, I'm not sure why NQC would offer arrays and the scripting language wouldn't. I am certainly not the resident programming expert:) Anyway, I can send you some code when I get home.      (...) Once again my appreciation for Rob goes up a notch.         Re: personal challange —Chris Magno
   (...) this is what i think i meant. because you have to name each array with a constant A(1) = 100 A(2) = 200 A(4) = 300 this is really no different than just a funny variable naming system A = 100 B = 200 C = 300 BUT if you could do this: var A(n) (...)
