OK, I'm back from Vancouver.  Nice place, Rains a bit too much for my
liking thought.

:)

the flight is about 5 hours.   in that 5 hours the "entertainment"
system was not working.    BUT some how they managed to show the "this
is your life vest" Video, yet Tomb raiders was not working.

shrug. My point.   I spent about 4 1/2 hours "programming" the code for
my bot.   its HARD!!!

so this post is a personal challenge. I'm not the kind of guy to go out
and make a bunch or rules to disqualify a style of robot; you know.

(smirk)

to that end.  I am personally challenging you to program your robot to
solve the puzzle on the fly.    this is NOT A RULE!!!  you can do
whatever you want.

BUT to make it more "fun" I think it would be cool to see a whack of
robots that's solved the problem as it went.  again. i want to STRESS
that this is in no way endorsed, sponsored, or authorized by our
friendly neighborhood NORTEL man.

Its good to be home.

:)

Chris

P.S. security @ Toronto, MADE me remove my steel toe shoes and walk
through the "machine" in my socks.   The BAS***DS

(...) Nice. I crossed the border at Ft. Erie two weekends ago and had relatively little problems, though we did see alot more inspections of other vehicles. I worked late of Friday--ugh! So I missed the dinner, again! Other things: I come up with (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Welcome Home, Chris. As for your challenge, I think that is what most people will be doing. I can see how the more mechanical solution of picking them all up and then dumping them through a template could work, but it would be tough to pull it (...)
