  Re: r10 Project X -- Rules update

K, here’s the thing—if we do head-to-head competitions, there are only 2 ‘bots involved at a time. There will be one winner and one loser. Just like the block sorting ‘bots--every ‘bot will eventually play every other ‘bot in subsequent heats. The (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  A little bit of History

In trying to style-up a new robot design at work (*I* think it's ugly), I was poking around online. I remembered being really drawn to what I understood was one of the earliest (if not the first industrial robot) when I was younger, and tried (...) (...) Odd. I just bought it at the Sears Clearance Centre in Brampton for 89.95 (A week ago). They also had *another* Vision Command for $35.   Re: r10 Project X -- Rules update

(...) I guess no one is going to cheat, but if my bot just say it is done at 0 sec then my score would be 24 sec at worst. So the penalty time for wrong block need to increase - I suggest 6 sec. (...) At the risk of being wishy-washy..... I like this. It makes sense, and it address rob's concern. OK folks, since I don't have a robot competing, perhaps I'll throw out some suggestions: Some scoring rules I've heard bandied around are: First to finish: +20 or +50...
