(...) 19 high it is, I will get that done ASAP. Thanks Dave. That should be a much more realistic height for me to pull off working cable cars, but only time will tell since I'm short on technic links. Just to make sure I'm on track, so to speak, (...) So I redesigned the other side of the layout 'cause there was way too much real-estate for me to fill... (...) Either way, with HITWs or with open topped hoppers, I'm all for this game, and think it'll be a good challenge. I think part of the challenge will be to make a good EOAT to deposit DNA, while at the same time building/programming the 'bot to (...) (19 years ago, 28-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: I think we shoudl try this sometime...

(...) Well, there's a couple of ways you could do it. You could say that no single attempt can take longer than n+10 seconds (or something), where n is the number of seconds the robot could make the run in by the shortest path. That way, it will (...) (...) And this system has worked amazingly well for 19 competitions. But it's for this reason you probably won't see me around on Feb. 11th. And as I've felt for quite a while, our oppinion, in the end, doesn't count. They "TRY" (in captial letters) (...) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: I think we shoudl try this sometime...

(...) I have that maze that I made for BF a couple of years ago. It has adjustable walls. This allows for a practice period followed by a change in maze geometry for the actual competition. Thus people cannot "preprogram" the winning route. I am not (...) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
