Re: I think we shoudl try this sometime...

(...) Well, there's a couple of ways you could do it. You could say that no single attempt can take longer than n+10 seconds (or something), where n is the number of seconds the robot could make the run in by the shortest path. That way, it will (...) (...) And this system has worked amazingly well for 19 competitions. But it's for this reason you probably won't see me around on Feb. 11th. And as I've felt for quite a while, our oppinion, in the end, doesn't count. They "TRY" (in captial letters) (...) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I found this (FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2005) and haven't seen it posted.   Re: I think we shoudl try this sometime...

(...) I have that maze that I made for BF a couple of years ago. It has adjustable walls. This allows for a practice period followed by a change in maze geometry for the actual competition. Thus people cannot "preprogram" the winning route. I am not (...) (19 years ago, 27-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
