  Re: C$ - Code Only

(...) Kevin, your doing JUST FINE. any time you want to join us for an rtl event, you are more than welcome. Chris There's no 'I' in 'team'. There's four in 'platitude-quoting idiot'. (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: C$ - Code Only

(...) Still trying to get a clear answer to a simple question..... Are you saying that *any* message is fine for step 3? When you say "send back the move number" are you meaning the move we just received, or the move we rapidly predict with our 1750 (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: C$ - Code Only

(...) That is one way to solve it. A second way is to have a total of 3 RCX's. One for running the LEGO hardware, and one for each program. You turn off the one you don't want to use depending on if you go first or second. Have you figured out *why* (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: C$ - Code Only

(...) So, does that mean (if you were using a robot) you would have to switch RCXs between games, depending on if you went first or second? :) (...) That's true. But, given the UI that I have set-up in MY RCX, it is required. Just send back the move (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I was "enthused" because even now, i still can not believe that two gemokes (in italian/english - pronounced ja - moke's) got up one day and said: "hey (daves friend)" "ya dave" "lets have a boo, and see if we can build a submarine" "ya" AND (...)   And bringing it back to LEGO (and Space!)

More pictures whilst sorting, and I decided to repost a *very* old web page of mine--it was the original reason I purchased a digital camera 6 years ago...   And now something completely different...

Whilst perusing some of my old picture CD's (digital pics taken by me), I was inspired to update a particular corner of my web site. (URL) know at one time Chris was pretty enthused about it, but the pictures I had up on my site were very few adn (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: C$ - Code Only

(...) Steve, First things first, I have one program for player 0, and a second program for player 1. I cannot play both games with the same program. I'm sure you'll figure out why.   Re: The NEXT game.

(...) Or, two robots, one rope, first to the top wins. Talk about the possibilities for an "elimination" style competition - perhaps the rope should dangle over a bunch of pillows, or a deep box of styrofoam peanuts... (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: The NEXT game.

(...) I'll run another marble sorting if the desire is ther (and the leaders approve) I think, though, the rope climbing is a Good Thing(tm). Just so I get more excercise, I'd say that the 4x4 arena should be there, that the 'bots start in the (...) (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: The NEXT game.

(...) The rope climbing sounds interesting... I could try it. However, I always up for a "marble sorting/block stacking/whatever competition." Maybe enter both! And I'll really, really try to be there this time! -Greg (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
