Very. Definitely.
BTW, Larry, speaking of geeks of some sort, you're a system architect,
right? My dad is writing a book (1) about system modeling, and I'm actually
his editor (nobody else gives him comments anywhere NEAR as deep-level as I
do (2)). So I'm actually becoming quite the geek in this stuff. Do you use
UML? Do you like it? What are its best sides, and biggest flaws, in your
opinion?
g'night!
-Shiri, now officially a 17 year old! Although I have been for a few hours
really (I was born on Israel time ;-).
XFUT .o-t.geek, NOW.
(1) He's been writing it for almost five years, but is now nearing done. It
should be all done by October 2001 (when he and my mom move back to .il)(3).
(2) I comment on everything from punctuation, through the images he uses,
through the complexity of his sentences, going on to the concepts he's
building the book on, and all the way to coauthoring a few subsections of
the book. 'Course I only get 6/5 of a line (4) in the acknowledgements but
that's OK, I'm getting paid too. ;-)
(3) My sister and I are going back 6 weeks before them.
(4) One line all for me, and a fifth of one that I'm sharing with my mom and
3 sisters. ;-)
This is one of those posts with more comments then body. Uh-oh ;-)
