Poor ceiling fan. I've seen a few situations where two objects had an
altercation, and the one you would expect to be more fragile won. In one
situation, a friend was organizing her kitchen, and a can of vegetables
fell out of an overhead cabinet and landed on a glass which was in the
dish drainer. The can was dented. The glass was fine. Another time,
while at a restaurant, a friend had slipped a plastic straw over the end
of a fork tine and was wiggling it back and forth, the fork bent.
