Ok, Here are my minifig counts (the +N are minifigs which are supposedly on
their way to me):

Blue shirt w/red stripes (mate): 72+2

Total pirate theme minifigs: 874+63
I should count my cannon also. Probably close to 200 (I have 140 brand new
firing cannon from 70 copies of 5134, which would be the set I have the most
of, closely followed by 50 1747 [which accounts for 2/3 of those blue vest
w/tan shirt guys]). Hmm, have to get a few more pirates to bump that up to
1000 total minifigs...
(1) I'm not sure if I have enough epaulettes and backpacks to make all of
these soldiers or officers.
