Good question. Though, for myself, I don't appreciate being dictated to,
therefore I shall not dictate to others vis a vis spiritual beliefs, so my god
maybe, well, God, but yours doesn't have to be. Buddha, Islam, whatever 'floats
your boat'. The point when you commit heinous acts against others in the name
of your god is the point where you've gone too far.
