I think the 1st Ammendment was broken

Just as I can't yell "Fire!" in a theatre causing undue panic, when there was no fire, Dubya cannot yell "Clear and imminent danger" and incite us into a "terror driven frenzy" which caused the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians, untold (...)   Re: Separation of Church and State

(...) Naw, they'll just outsource everything and sell to fewer and fewer customers for more dollars per unit. Alternatively, they will sell to fewer americans and westerners in general, but more persons on a global scale overall -- even if the (...)   Re: Separation of Church and State

(...) That's an awfully gross and unfair claim, and I resent the implication that I am "most likely a molester" since I consider myself a religious person and have been actively involved in youth ministry for about 10 years. I'd also like to point (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Swift was Right! (He just named the wrong people...)

(...) I disagree. It wouldn't surprise me if it were true. Especially after knowing what hapenned in Macau during WW2. And let's face it, 20 million people have to eat - if they don't produce enough and can't get the rest in the market, they will (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: Swift was Right! (He just named the wrong people...)

(...) Mebbe so. Would you deny that the lot of the people under the rule of DPRK is far worse than the lot of those under the rule of the ROK??? Whether it's as bad as this article alleges, who cares, exactly, it's still bad. I'll go out on a limb (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: Unscientific AOL Shrub Credability Poll

(...) Hmmm, I tried this first thing before, and it didn't work -- I must have mistyped something. In UNIX it's actually "traceroute". (...) No arguments, really. But check out where most of my posts come from, the raw view would have given you this for that last post: 67.123.147.114.   Re: Swift was Right! (He just named the wrong people...)

This looks like another piece of crap coming straight from people who want to show us that the N. Coreans are evil and that they should be the next target... Lame article. No journalistic value whatsoever. Terry (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: Separation of Church and State

(...) Yuck... Give a religious man a boy of that age and what you'll most likely get is another boy molested by a priest/preacher/whatever... But it does tell us a lot about religion that go after the younger, more innocent and less critic people to (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jun-03, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Re: "Terrorism" is just a scapegoat.

  "Terrorism" is just a scapegoat.

I was discussing the whole gun control thing with someone today. That person made a comment along the lines of, "what good will small arms do against a modern military."
