I disagree.
It wouldnt surprise me if it were true. Especially after knowing what hapenned
in Macau during WW2. And lets face it, 20 million people have to eat - if they
dont produce enough and cant get the rest in the market, they will start
eating rejects (in 1998 North Koreans were reportedly taught in national radio
how to make grass tea and grass soup, for instance). If even that fails,
self-predation is the next thing in line, as disgusting as it may sound.
Of course, I understand it when you think this article is meant to hype the
masses against NK... but in this particular case, even I am supportive of
intervention (ASAP, by the way!). The government is deliberately keeping the
people in famine, since we know they were offered aid and refused it. Not to
mention that KJI is the last of the paranoid dictators...
Whats Chinas stance on the issue, BTW?
