Mebbe so. Would you deny that the lot of the people under the rule of DPRK is
far worse than the lot of those under the rule of the ROK??? Whether it's as bad
as this article alleges, who cares, exactly, it's still bad.
I'll go out on a limb and say that in no other country that has anywhere near
the level of industrialization are things so bad for the general populace.
As to why that is, well, in my book it's a great demonstration that socialism
and communism just don't work. The closer you get to the "ideal" system the
worse it gets for the people.
Not that the oligarchofascism we seem to be drifting toward in the US is any
better, mind you.
