Careful with the red, white and navy speedboat, the colour in the navy blocks
is not consistent, as it wasn't in the extra light tan plates in one of the
battleship sets.

Look carefully at the instructions and bricks for the speedboat. There
are actually black & dark blue pieces in it, and the two are *very* close
in colour. It had me fuming until I noticed that there were actually two
colours. Then it all went together consistently, but you need good light
to separate the pieces.

Yeah it was tricky, I'm still picking out black blocks out of the navy pile.
But I did realise at the time there were both.
But there still is variation with the navy blocks, especially with the inverse
slopes when say copmpared to the 2 x 4's.
Maybe I got a bad set. If the first battleship I had bought had the poorer
colouring, I probably would have stopped there and not bought more Ritvik.
But I am very happy with the price and consistency of grey/gray blocks and
keep trying to tempt my fellow AFOL's with them.
In fact when assembled I think the more matt finish of the grey/gray blocks
looks better than the Lego light grey/gray.

Unfortunately IMHO Mega Bloks has a ways to go before it will reach the level of TENTE (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
