TLC has changed some of their requirements.  I had a conversation with a
small toy store owner a few months ago and she mentioned it had recently
become easier for her to do business with TLC.  Thye had lowered the • minimum
buy to $1000 and it didn't have to be paid for in advance.

Um, isn't this *really* big news?  A minimum buy of $1000 would make it
reasonable for some parts sellers to buy Lego at wholesale.

By crikey, at that minimum, it would be viable for some regular consumers to
buy wholesale from them! I reckon I could put together an order of that size
entirely based on pre-sales from local AFOLs. Now there's a thought!

It's not 75% off clearance, but wholesale would be a good price, especially if it gave a seller the opportunity (...) (23 years ago, 15-Feb-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.market.theory)
