BrickBay is awesome, Dan Jezek is wicked fast (1-1.5 orders of magnitude faster than Todd, I'd say, based on feature accretion rates, although we'll see how well architected it is a year from now) and it's getting better EVERY DAY. That's not just marketing hype, every day I find something Dan just added. Todd better watch out, he's about to lose first mover in this space, if he ever had it... Dan's site is a serious threat and gaining fast. Plus Dan responds to suggestions very quickly. It may help that I'm a good customer, I've bought 1K USD worth of parts from various vendors already. FWIW, I use BrickBay just fine from an NT 4 (SP 6)box running NS 4.7 and IE 5.0 as well as from a Win 95 box running NS 4.5 What is your setup? Maybe we need to take this to off-topic.geek? Yea, I accept it, but I'll still complain every once in a while (another pet peeve here is that brickshelf uses Javascript to do a redirect when you use a menmonic URL instead of the folder/picture number URL, no reason why it can't do the (...) Everything works great for me and I'm running Redhat Linux 6.2 on my laptop. It also worked great for me from Win98. I keep thinking I should offer help to you guys with all the programming. For one, it is much much faster for the user to browse items in the shop and add items to their shopping cart. Another (...) (...) I understand your dislike of Javascript since it depends on what browser you're using but what do you have against ASP? It's strictly a server-side language that doesn't affect you as the client at all. What's bad about ASP that's OK with .CFM (...) What's with Brickbay? I have been totally unable to use it at home. Every time I click on a category in someone's shop, that Internet Explorer window hangs and I have to ctrl-alt delete to recover (though other windows continue to work, though (...)
