I'm curious - is there anything in the way of a Columbus area LEGO group or
club that meets at all? I see there are such elsewhere, but haven't come
across anything to indicate one for Cols. And is anyone here planning to go
to either of the Crew games that the LEGO Soccer Experience Tour truck will
be at?
There has been some discussion of a group going to the Crew games.  I'm
planning on going to the 9/9 game with my family.  Be glad to meet up with
other LEGO'ers there.

Hmm..9/9 might be more doable though I'm more interested in the LEGO truck
than the game. Soccer just never got under my skin like other sports. :)
Though with the soccer sets..... no better not branch out anymore...yet. ;)

An informal, state-wide, group has been forming over the last couple of
months.  Currently, our main activity has been BrikWars
(http://www.teleport.com/~rayhawks/brikwars.htm) games.  We've had one,
cancelled one and are having another this weekend.  We're meeting in • Cleveland,
at Adrian Drake's house, Saturday.  If your interested, email myself (use
meloneg@oclc.org, I check it more often) or Adrian (tremor@apk.net).

There have been a few get-togethers in Columbus over the years.  The last • one
I was at was at Carolyn Cheney's house.

That's cool, though I know this weekend is out due to prior commitments. I've
never played a BrikWars game though I've idly glanced over the rules in the
past. I think I'd be more interested in a planned get together here in town -
We've been avoiding the construction on 71/271 as much as possible. :)

Welcome.

*chuckles* And if you're the Gino that I'm thinking you are from here in town -
Lynda says hi. :)
