I can't wait to lay waste to a huge horde of knights with a couple of nuclear
cruise missiles launched from an F-117 Night Hawk ... muwhahah...

I could go for laying siege to a medieval castle with a couple of Mecha.  That
would be surreal.

As for when we can do this, I think I have it traced to two or three weekends
when I'll be available in the next two months.  The first is this weekend, but
I think that's a little short notice for all concerned.  After that it's the
first two weekends in May (5/6 and 5/13).  If we aim for either of those, I
should be able to make it.

Just give me a weekend, and I'll be there.

This brings us to our next subject -- who wants to host the first LBOO Brik
War event? (LBOO = Lego Builders Of Ohio) All we really need is a large table.
(and chairs)

Hey experienced players (if you're eavesdropping like Mike was)  If we're
playing this game far from our regular collections (well, I will be anyway)
what spare parts do you suggest bringing along to augment play as it
continues?  Lots of minifigs and spare weapons?  Basic bricks in various
colors?  I'd bring my whole collection, but 60,000 pieces is a little unwieldy
to move :)

Did you actually count? :) I can fill a RubberNeck bucket up the brim with my
collection. Quite heavy, but not all that unwieldy.

(...) Not directly, no. That total is about what I have all the instruction manuals for, which I tallied in an Excel Spreadsheet and then copied to my web page for all to see. It's on the order of 60,000, but I haven't checked recently. Currently, (...) (25 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)
