Here's a LEGO map I just threw together:

(It fits on a 50x50 baseplate)  I can easily change the quality of the
JPG, the
colors of the states, the viewpoint, and the size of the image.  With a
little
effort, I can change the resolution (eg, 75x75 studs)  I could also post the
DAT file (<2000 pieces)[1] to lugnet.cad.dat.models...  Please LMKWYT!

VERY NICE! :)  Umm, maybe if you wanna reduce the size of the output image
it could be in the logo for GMLUG.  Great work Bram! :)

(URL) is up and running (sort of). I have put together a bunch of basic information, enough to get the site up and going.
