The X-10 Lamp module controllers can only handle resistive loads, like lightbulbs. Inductive loads (like motors) screw them up royally. My initial experiments have met with limited success. But, since there seems to have been some equipment damaged, I wanted to share my findings as a caution to others who might try. :-( I used the RF "transceiver" module. This plugs into the wall, (...) I was at a Safeway in Alameda and picked up the 7128 Speeder Bike set from a small display by the deli. There were also the Droid Fighters and the little Duel Set. Keep those suggestions coming! I'll make a collection and then summarize it to the list. As for trains, I have a few ideas there as well; PNLTC uses a 9-V transformer (power pack) instead of 12-V, which keeps little hands from achieving break-part (...) We met at the Fremont main public library in the Fukaya Room. This room was large, seats 96 folks, and we had (14) 2.5'x 5' tables set out for our use, whith lots of chairs.
