Hi Zonker and everyone,

Do you know Ray's email?  He left before I could get a grab bag. Do you know
if he has any left? I'd like to see if he has any yellow parrots left. ;-)

How was dinner. etc., on Sat. evening?  I think the meet was a huge success.
We had good attendance (50-60 total?)and the room was better than I thought.
As well as I could tell, everyone had a great time.

My wife had a suggestion about the layout/organization that I think has
merit:  organize the room into zones, one for displays only with no
hands-on, a display/play area for hands on play, a free-for-all build area,
kind of like the big pile of bricks in the back, a trains area, a sale/trade
area, Technic play area, and maybe others.  There would be a "rotating"
monitor for each zone.

This way those who don't particularly want kids handling their creations
would be happy, and not be "chained to their table" , the kids would be
happy to play with the other creations/sets. The same for those who want to
trade/sell things wouldn't have guard their stuff all the time either.

Comments?

Mark
