Well, with all this stock it looks like we are half way there • already! -
will these items fit onto a module (see nbltc.org) or two modules?
Essentially, a couple of trial runs are needed prior to the LLW event • where
we can all get together to assemble a large layout and place • buildings,
viewing points, control locations etc.

Modules are 1277 long x 638 wide (nominal 1280x640 when bolted up)and • share
proportions with a 2x4 lego brick. With a dozen modules we could set • up a
really decent display 6400 x 2560 (about 21ft x 8ft 6) with a central • well
to hide in about 4ft x 17ft.

NBLTC will have the first 6 modules assembled and running this • Saturday. Are
there any takers for the rest?

I guess I would like to see some basic design to the layout rather than
a hap hazard distribution of mocs around a train line(s)

It doesn't have to be complex but if we could sketch out something like
a 21x8 area, then divide it into zones, then see what people have or are
willing to build for each of those zones.
e.g. a goods and marshalling yard zone, a town centre zone, a village
zone, whatever.
Then in the town zone we could have a basic street plan and then folks
get allocated a block or whatever to fill.

Maybe we should get together before the event somewhere like Thames valley
to have a trial run. Set up the display and check that we have everything
that we want.
That way we can arrange the layout to see what looks best.So when we get to
winsor we will look more professional and we should`nt have many problems.
For my input i`ll try and build something for a minifig town and make a
table module up.
And if you want a Technic display let me know.
