This sounds like a great idea, I will watch with interest. I would suggest
as a starting point;

'Alternative' models (eg chess sets) and
'Alternative' uses for lego (eg picture frames, vases)?

| Dear one and all, At the recent Red Letter Days / LEGOLAND Windsor event, a suggestion was raised that we UK AFOLs might like to put together an exhibition open to the public at the Park showcasing our MOCs. This idea was passed to the relevant (...) (23 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
